Operation Homefront Georgia organized the pre-game flag presentation at the Atlanta Braves home opener against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 8, 2011. The American flag was unfurled across the outfield at Turner Field, carried by family members of troops deployed overseas, as well as other volunteers.

It was an exciting night to honor the brave men and women who defend our country. Many thanks to the Atlanta Braves who help make this tribute possible. Also, many thanks to John Dominic who assisted me taking photos from our "crow's nest seats" while I was on the field prior to the start of the game.
