A beautiful Saturday morning greeted 183 participants in the first Yellow Ribbon 1-mile walk/run and 5K run, organized by Operation Homefront Georgia. Both events helped raise money for military families, as part of Operation Homefront's mission to provide emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to the Wounded Warriors when they return home. Following the running events, a tree was planted to honor our military.
