This gallery contains approximately 430 photos documenting a wonderful event which took place at Fort Benning, Georgia on the weekend of May 13, 14, and 15, 2022. The event focused on the re-dedication of the War Dog Memorial located on Fort Benning, honoring the many military working dogs and their handlers from all military services that were instrumental in serving the country by supporting military operations during times of conflict.

The event was organized with the help of Military Working Dog Heritage Museum Association, the United States War Dog Association, and the US Army Military Working Dog Program, supported by several organizations and sponsors, including civilians and military personnel.

The images here document several events during the weekend, including the re-dedication of the war dog memorial, social events attended by the many former and active duty handlers, a great working dog demonstration by active duty dogs with their handlers from the Fort Benning kennels and the Fort Rucker, Alabama kennels, a walk-through of the working dog kennels, and a banquet at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, located next to Fort Benning.
