St. Paul's Chapel is located in close proximity of Ground Zero. When the World Trade Center twin towers collasped during the attacks on 9/11/01, St. Paul's was only slightly damaged. The Chapel served as a refuge center for recovery workers throughout the long recovery operations. There are many siginificant stories represented by memorials inside the Chapel.
