The images featured in this gallery represent many of the birds, both native and migratory, that inhabit areas of Southwest Florida, primarily Sanibel Island and home to the famous J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. Included also are a few images of beautiful sunsets, a lighthouse, native flowers, a few starfish, and some dolphins. I have included a small assortment of infrared captures, appearing more like black and white photos.

Birds include the following: Osprey, black vulture, black-bellied plover, western sandpiper, ring-billed gull, snowy plover, double-crested cormorant, anhinga, royal tern, black skimmer, spotted sandpiper, American white pelican, brown pelican, great blue heron, tri-colored heron, yellow-crowned night heron, great egret, snowy egret, black-crowned night heron, white ibis, roseate spoonbill, and wood stork.
